Isaac Regional Council

Isaac Regional Council commenced operations from Saturday 15th March 2008.

Isaac Regional Council celebrates its formation through the amalgamation of three former shires being Belyando, Broadsound and Nebo, all who have traditional links to grazing, agriculture and mining.

Isaac Regional Council has been created to serve the communities by providing a more efficient level of service delivery to all residents and a stronger long-term future for the Region.

The Isaac Regional Council covers an area from 'Coal to the Coast' in Central Queensland, incorporating the towns of Clermont, Dysart, Glenden, Middlemount, Moranbah, Nebo, Coppabella, St Lawrence, Carmila, Clairview, Greenhill and Ilbilbie.
