Fraser Coast Regional Council

Welcome to the Fraser Coast, where remarkable natural attractions, outstanding heritage and architecture and thriving industry and tourism combine to create a glorious, relaxed and affordable lifestyle and real sense of community.

The Fraser Coast is serviced by two major regional centres. The popular tourist hub of Hervey Bay and the beautiful riverside city of Maryborough. The rural based areas of Tiaro and Woocoo and charming coastal communities, including Burrum Heads, Howard, Torbanlea and the Great Sandy Strait, complete the region.

Ideally located, the Fraser Coast is the gateway to Fraser Island and southern Great Barrier Reef and is less than three hours drive from Brisbane.
